Chittagong--(UNB) – The two indexes at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished higher yesterdayas the losers outnumbered the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index gained 2.43 points or 0.17 percent to close at 1393.32 points from Tuesday’s 1390.89 points.

The selective index also rose to 5.29 points or 0.37 percent to close at 1420.71 points from Tuesday’s 1415.41 points.

Of the listed 50 securities traded today, 27 gained, 14 declined and nine remained unchanged.

Some 524,025 shares and debentures valued at Tk 2.91 crore were transacted as against 488,190 shares worth Tk 2.85 crore on the previous trading day.

M Hossain Garments (143,650), Aims First Guaranteed (60,000), National Credit (57,600), Sinobangla (37,000) and Bexi Pharma (34,750) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 57.14 billion from Tk 57.05 billion on Tuesday.
